Meet Faye Carruthers…

Faye Carruthers has achieved a BA HONS degree in English Literature & Theatre Studies whilst studying in Liverpool, England. Embracing adventure in her early twenties, she took to the skies as part of the Emirates Airline cabin crew. Although she adored flying, it was her deep passion for education that eventually guided her to a fulfilling career in teaching.
Faye’s passion with literature and the arts led her to gain a PGCE in secondary education. She taught English for 7 years before deciding to leap into the world of writing. Faye has always been a keen animal lover and often claimed that she “preferred animals to humans as they show kindness in abundance.” This passion for animals gave her the inspiration for her debut children’s book – ‘The Crocodile and Plover Bird: A Rare Friendship’
